Transferring Your iPad Saved Games

You can copy your Avadon 3 saved games onto and off of your iPad, using iTunes file sharing. To do this,

  1. Launch iTunes. Connect your iPad. Go to the iPad section in iTunes and go to the Apps page.
  2. Scroll to the File Sharing section at the bottom. Select Avadon 3 HD.
  3. A folder named “Spiderweb Software” will appear to the right. This contains your Avadon 3 saved games. You can drag this into your desktop, change the saved games in it, and drag it back into iTunes.

You can also ficopynd the saved game folder using iExplorer. To do this,

  1. Go to Macroplant's web site and download and install iExplorer on your computer. (The demo of iExplorer is capable of copying your saved games onto and off of the device.)
  2. When the program is showing the files in your device, open the folder for the game in question (here, "Avadon 3 HD"). Enter "Documents/Spiderweb Software" and then the saved games folder. The saved games are in the 'Save0', 'Save1', etc. subfolders. Be sure to pull out all 3-4 files that make up the saved game (data, header, items, and maybe journal).

Alas, iPad saved games are not compatible with Mac/Windows saved games. We plan to fix this in future games.
